Around the County with Local Students – 3-24

COURT HOUSE — The following local students were named the Dean’s List at their respective colleges, or have graduated:
Andrew William Zipparo, son of William and Lynda Zipparo of Court House was named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Juniata College in Pa.

Sara Tumasz-Zolty of North Cape May has been named to the Dean’s List at the College of Saint Elizabeth.

Samantha Piro of Erma was named to the Dean’s List at Chestnut Hill College for the fall Semester.

Kathryn Gibson of Seaville received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering degree in industrial and systems engineering from the College of Engineering and Alexander Weisberg of Ocean View, a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the College of Engineering at Virginia Tech.

Joshua Romig of Rio Grande has been named to the President’s List at Berkeley College for the Fall 2009 Quarter. Romig attends the Garret Mountain Campus in Woodland Park.

Nicole Addesso of Cape May, a senior accounting major, is one of 32 students from Rider University selected for inclusion in the 2010 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Marcel Voumard, son of Marc and Rachelle Voumard of Cape May is a member of the 2010 Lynchburg College Men’s LaCrosse team. He is a freshman defender and will join the Hornets this season.

The following students have been named to the dean’s list at Frostburg State University: Joseph DiCicco and Kimberly Stahler from Court House.

William Harner of North Cape May was named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Kean University in Union.
