Around the County with Local Students – 2-10

The following students graduated, or were named to the dean’s list at their respective colleges:
Ryan McCarty and David Smith of Court House graduated from Gwynedd-Mercy College, Gwynedd Valley, Pa.

Brittany Sterling of Court House has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester of at Geneva College. She is majoring in biology, and is a Cape Christian Academy graduate.

Mary Frances Manning was named to the Dean’s List at Clarion University.

Alexis L. Sullivan of Cape May was named to Dean’s List at The University of Scranton, Scranton, Pa. She is a sophomore studying English.

Amanda P. Patterson of Cape May, Karen E. Guilliams of Court House and Melissa M. Boyes of Villas were named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at East Stroudsburg University, East Stroudsburg, Pa.

Allison Weiser of Wildwood Crest was named to the fall 2009 Dean’s List for outstanding academic achievement at the University of Albany.

Kelly Drinkard is student teaching at Cochran Elementary School in Williamsport and at Williamsport Area High School in Williamsport. Drinkard is a resident of Seaville and a graduate of Ocean City High School.

Heather Heun of Cape May, Misericordia University, received a student teacher assignment at Tunk-hannock Area School District and Wilkes-Barre Area.

Stephanie Moya of Whitesboro, a senior at Middle Township High School, has received a scholarship to attend Berkeley College.
