MAYS LANDING —From ethnic Latin flavorings to chocolate treats, the Academy of Culinary Arts is offering nearly 20 cooking workshops this spring. The hands-on workshops are offered in the evening through the Continuing Education department at Atlantic Cape Community College.
Workshops include Beyond Uncle Ben’s, Fat Tuesday, Cheese and Charcuterie Tasting, Cook West Young Man, Feast of the Fisherman, Beyond Burritos, From Boston to Williamsburg, Friday Night Dinner Club, Valentine Temptations and Irish Baking.
Additionally, the Academy is offering a “Too Busy to Cook” series for people who find it difficult to have time to prepare healthy and delicious meals. Participants can register for the whole series at a discount or each class individually. Workshops in the series include, Pasta Presto!, One-Dish Dinners, Dinner Tonight, Almost From Scratch, Main Dish Casseroles, Salad Suppers, Vegetarian Cooking and Sleepy Sundays.
All workshops are $65 per person, except Friday Night Dinner Club, which is $75 each.
All workshops are offered in the academy’s training kitchens at ACCC, 5100 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing.
