“Scarf It Up” is a knitting group being formed to knit items such as scarves and hats, which GABLES will be donating to those in need. All levels of knitters are welcome, and instruction will be provided as needed. The group is led by Fran Geores. Fran is an experienced knitter and teacher who has been knitting since she was seven years old.
The group will meet at Back Corner Cafe, at the corner of Bayshore Road and Sandman Boulevard in North Cape May on Dec. 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on Dec. 18 from 10 to 12. Jan. dates and location will be determined. GABLES will supply starter materials for the first Dec. dates, and then knitters are responsible for providing their own materials.
