COURT HOUSE – Families are invited to join the elves and staff at the Cape May County Park and Zoo for their annual “Santa’s Family Workshop” Dec. 12 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. This is a free event and kids of all ages are encouraged to visit the Park and Zoo and participate in the holiday activities, crafts, and games, including a search for all nine of Santa’s reindeer hiding in the Zoo.
Freeholder E. Marie Hayes, liaison at the Park and Zoo, confirmed that Santa, Mrs. Santa and his elves will be visiting the Zoo on December 12, and will be available for photos. She encourages families to bring their cameras to capture the memories of Santa’s Workshop at the Park and Zoo.
“I also want to remind visitors about the “Holiday Break Zoo Camp”, scheduled during the winter school break. “The Holiday Break Zoo Camp” is targeted to children from ages 4-9, and will focus on educating and entertaining children about animals that live in colder climates. The zoo camp is called “Wonderful Winter Animals” and will only run between Dec. 28-31, 20015. This is a perfect opportunity to for children to learn more about the animals at the Cape May County Park and Zoo, Hayes reported.
