Rutgers Extension to Host Evening of Wine and Equine for Farmers and Farm Managers

COURT HOUSE – Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County and United States Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service will host an evening of wine and equine for Environmental Stewardship on New Jersey Horse Farms, June 15 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Star Hollow Stables, 1520 Route 83 in Cape May Court House, New Jersey.
There will be speakers on and information on sustainable farming on New Jersey horse farms while adults sip wine from local vineyards Cape May Winery and Jessie Creek Winery and tour the beautiful new Star Hollow Stables farm.
Also, learn about the latest in environmental research for equine farms from experts from the NJ Agricultural Experiment Station and the Natural Resources Conservation Service and find out about potential funding for your farm. Plus network with other managers and owners.
