WILDWOOD – The coming month’s Mid Jersey Cape Rotary programs will consider “Promoting the Shore – Our County’s Most Valuable Resource.” Mid Jersey Cape Rotary Club is a dedicated group of business professionals who meet every Tuesday at the Wildwood Country Club for lunch and special programs. They raise funds year-round for scholarships and provide community service.
Beginning with a historical perspective provided by now-retired former Director of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce Bob Patterson, the programs will focus sequentially the historical perspective on marketing the shore, the power of photographic recollections, the ongoing challenge of maintaining our beaches and back-bay channels, the task of filling our beachfront resorts and finally the emergent challenge of promoting the county to tourists from around the world.
Each of the programs will be held at the Wildwood Golf and Country Club, beginning at 12:15 p.m. with a buffet luncheon on successive Tuesdays. Guests are welcome. For more information, contact President Francey Burke, at franceyburke@hotmail.com.
