The Cape May County Library is delighted to host a lecture and book signing by popular renowned author Kathleen George at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 3 at the Cape May City Public Library, Ocean and Hughes streets.
George is the author of “The Man in the Buick, “Taken,” “Fallen” and her latest book “Afterimage,” published in 2007.
George’s novel “Taken” has been translated into French, German, Japanese, Dutch, Danish, and Norwegian. George has in progress another novel, “The Odds.”

Since childhood, Kathleen George wanted to be a writer; writing stories throughout her school years and continuing to write during her undergraduate years as a creative writing major at the University of Pittsburgh, where she went on to earn a PhD in Theatre.
She earned her M.F.A. degree in Creative Writing in 1988 and is presently a Professor in the Theatre Arts Department at the University of Pittsburgh.
The author will be on hand to meet the public after the lecture and novels will be available for purchase and signing.
