OCEAN CITY – Dr. Robbins brings insights, inspiration and humor, as he travels the world speaking to teenagers and adults. The scope of Duffy’s ministry includes work in Europe, Australia and Asia as well as venues such as the Creation Festival, the Presidential Prayer Breakfast and Youth Specialties events. His books on youth ministry techniques and tools include The Ministry of Nurture, Youth Ministry Nuts and Bolts, Spontaneous Melodramas, This Way To Youth Ministry, Everyday Object Lessons, Enjoy the Silence, Speaking to Teenagers, and Building a Youth Ministry That Builds Disciples. He is also a contributor to Youthworker Journal, The Journal of Student Ministry, Youthwork (published in England) and Good News Magazine.
There will be two identical services at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. You will see some familiar faces including Greg Field, who will lead the 8:15 and 10:15 a.m. pre-service hymn singing along with Jeff Seals on the organ and Carolyn Lothian at the piano.
There are also some new people you will want to meet. Rick Carlson is the new President/CEO of the Ocean City Tabernacle and Moorlyn Family Theatre. Curt Cloninger, is a professional actor, writer and storyteller. He will also be involved throughout the season.
Child care is available for ages 3 and younger in the Noah’s Ark nursery. Children’s Worship is available for kids K through 4th grade both services and a Jr. High class 5th through 8th grade is offered at the 10:30 a.m. service.
Everyone is welcome. Come in your vacation clothes. Sunday events at the Tabernacle are by contribution only; tickets are not needed. Parking is free on the Tabernacle grounds for anyone attending worship services or concerts.
