Sea Isle Implements Revised Payment Extensions

By Camille Sailer

SEA ISLE CITY – At Sea Isle City Council’s April 28 meeting, Business Administrator George Savastano asked the council to give its consent to several “grace period” extensions, which members approved unanimously through a resolution.
These extensions pertain to rental permits and mercantile licenses that should have been paid by May 1, but the due date has been extended to June 30, after which time late fees will be assessed. Included in the resolution are mandatory payments at parking meters, which will start May 15. The availability of early beach tag fees will be extended from May 15 to June 30, after which time fees will increase by five dollars.
Parking permits will go on sale May 11, at the old school building, on Park Avenue, with no mail-ins permitted, payment by check only, and only applications by personal appearance will be allowed with appropriate social distancing and masks.
