SafeHaven Meets, March 2

By Press Release

RIO GRANDE – SafeHaven will meet March 2 to view and discuss the film “For the Bible Tells Me So,” a documentary that follows five conservative Christian families, some well known, as they confront having gay children. Each family has to balance unthinking acceptance of negative stereotypes against the reality of their child and how all this fits into the Gospel message. For information, contact Dick Webber at 609-886-5133 or Dave Calvert at 609-602-4640.
SafeHaven is a fellowship for gay Christians of all varieties, providing a safe and comfortable place as they explore their experiences as people of faith in the LGBT community (lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender) or even Q for those who are questioning their sexuality.
SafeHaven meets on the first Sunday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Branches, a mission center in the Village Shoppes, Rt. 47, Rio Grande behind the Family Dollar store.
