Area preacher, singer and actor Jim Hughes is coming to Tabernacle United Methodist Church in Erma and all are invited. Rev. Hughes (“Jim”) will be offering his gifts of word, music and drama over three days, beginning Sept. 23. Jim’s unique way of communicating is powerful, effective and in touch with today’s society.
Jim, who has roots in Cape May County, is Tabernacle’s special guest to celebrate this Lower Township church’s 215th anniversary of commitment to God and the community. Revival Services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 23 at 9:15 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., with a covered dish/potluck dinner at 5 p.m. On Monday, Sept. 24 and Tuesday, Sept. 25, services will be at 7 p.m. All events are free. A “love offering” will be taken during each service.
