RIO GRANDE – On Oct. 7, over 1,500 Life Chains will again line local sidewalks building a nationwide prayer vigil to ask for God’s divine assistance in saving lives and changing hearts, according to a release.
With President Trump’s nomination of Justice Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court advocates have the hope of seeing the overturning of the infamous Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion. However, not until the church is willing to humble itself, pray, seek God’s face and turn from its wicked way, can we expect God to hear from heaven, forgive our sin and heal our land (II Chron. 7:14), the release continued.
The Life Chain will form a cross along the intersection of Routes 9 and 47 in Rio Grande. Participants will be able to make donations to the Hope Pregnancy Center, which has offices in Fishing Creek and Ocean City.
Those centers minister to the needs of women facing crisis pregnancies.
The hour-long event will begin at 2 p.m. Oct. 7, rain or shine.
Those individuals interested in participating can pick up a sign at the K-Mart parking lot along Route 9 in Rio Grande.
