VILLAS — Friends, family members, neighbors and strangers are cordially invited to attend Holy Spirit Lutheran Church’s “Back to Church Sunday – Fill the Pews Day” on Sept. 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Leah Lavelle has upped her special challenge to the congregation and community: If a minimum of 80 people (75 people gathered last year) fill the pews on Sept. 15, live turtles will perform a brand new, one-of-a-kind special bible story during the children’s message to help celebrate. Can you guess which bible story it might be?
But if less than 80 people attend, Pastor Leah says there will be no presentation by the turtles. All are invited to please come so everyone can enjoy this brand new, one-of-a-kind show.
