OCEAN CITY – The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will hold its 1st Annual Victory Celebration on Tuesday, May 10th from 6:45 – 8:30 pm at the Ocean City Tabernacle. This evening was created to celebrate the student and adult FCA campus leaders in 2010-11, promote awareness of the local ministry, and to encourage future partnerships.
This year’s event will include a meet and greet reception of hors d’oeuvres and desserts from 6:45 – 7:15 pm, and a program of leadership recognition and brief testimonies from 7:15 – 8:30 pm.
FCA is the largest Christian sports ministry in the world and focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ. For over 55 years, FCA has sought to impact the world through the influence of athletes and coaches.
“This year, there have been more than 50 student and adult leaders who are committed to make a difference on their campus,” said Kyle Clayton, Area Representative of FCA Cape Atlantic. “We want to share the FCA ministry with the community by recognizing and celebrating their leadership and positive influence this school year.”
This is a free event, and we encourage all coaches, athletes, and families with an interest in sports to attend. For more information, please contact Kyle Clayton at kclayton@fca.org, call 609-431-0322, or click on www.fcaCAPEatlantic.org
