OCEAN CITY – Rev. Dr. David Gray is Senior Pastor of Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church in Bethesda, MD and a senior fellow at the New America Foundation. David is a former acting assistant secretary for policy in the senior executive service at the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). David’s books include “Practicing Balance: How Congregations Can Support Harmony in Work and Life, Faith in Service,” “1015” and “Spiritual Calcium.”
Rev. Dr. Anthony Campolo, speaking at 7:00 p.m., is familiar to Ocean City through his books and speaking at the Tabernacle since 1976. He is Professor Emeritus at Eastern University and the Founder of EAPE. Right to Become leads the singing at 6:35 pm prior to the 7:00 p.m. service.
There will be two identical services at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. You will see some familiar faces including Greg Field, who will lead the 8:15 and 10:15 a.m. pre-service hymn singing along with Jeff Seals on the organ and Carolyn Lothian at the piano.
There are also some new people you will want to meet. Rick Carlson is the new President/CEO of the Ocean City Tabernacle and Moorlyn Family Theatre. Curt Cloninger, is a professional actor, writer and storyteller. He will also be involved throughout the season.
Child care is available for ages 3 and younger in the Noah’s Ark nursery both morning and evening services. Children’s Worship is available for kids K through 4th grade both morning services and a Jr. High class 5th through 8th grade is offered at the 10:30 a.m. service.
Everyone is welcome. Come in your vacation clothes. Sunday events at the Tabernacle are by contribution only; tickets are not needed. Parking is free on the Tabernacle grounds for anyone attending worship services or concerts.
