CAPE MAY — A baking class series will be offered to the community in November at the First Presbyterian Church, corner of Hughes and Decatur streets, in the newly renovated kitchen.
The four-class series will be taught by Heijung Colameco, a professional pastry chef trained at the Culinary Institute of America, who is also a local real estate broker associate at By the Sea Realty.
Participants will improve their baking techniques just in time for the holidays by learning baking concepts used by professional bakers in an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie.
The tax-deductible tuition donation of $100 includes all four classes, all materials and opportunities for tasting delicious desserts.
Class sessions are Tues., Nov. 9, Wed., Nov. 10, Tues., Nov. 16, and Wed., Nov. 17, from 10 a.m. through 1:30 p.m.
Space is limited. Call Carole Giampalmi promptly at 884-6224 for registration or additional information.
