Children, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren of Holocaust Survivors Invited to Special Event

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP– The Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center at Stockton College is co-sponsoring an event with Jewish Family Service of Atlantic and Cape May Counties for second and third generations after the Shoah.
The program, titled “The 21st Century: Agenda for Remembrance,” is planned for those whose parents, grandparents or great-grandparents were Holocaust survivors. The program will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2010, 7:00 p.m., at Jewish Family Service, 607 North Jerome Avenue, Margate, NJ 08402. The cost is free and open to second and third generations after the Holocaust; Generations After the Shoah.
The event presenter will be Dr. Michael Berenbaum. Professor Berenbaum is an internationally renowned educator and historian. He is author of twelve books, scores of scholarly articles and hundreds of journalistic pieces. Most recently, he was the project consultant for The Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center and a keynote speaker at the dedication of the Center.
