COURT HOUSE – Grand Knight Kelly Keppel hosted the annual Knight’s Night on Saturday, April 30th, for Knights of Columbus Council 12184, Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church. In a Mass prior to the event, Pastor Fr. John O’Leary praised the Knights for “the thousands of volunteer hours and thousands of dollars” the group’s mission of charity provides the church and community every year.
Financial Secretary Bill Speziale was presented with the Hank Spinelli Award, given to the member most helpful to the Grand Knight in the previous year.
Joseph and Barbara Danizsewski were cited as Family of The Year, for their tireless efforts on behalf of Our Lady of The Angels Parish.
Past Grand Knight Tim Donohue was voted Knight of the Year by his fellow Council members. Kelly Keppel praised Donohue for his decade long commitment of service. Donohue chairs the Knight’s Scholarship Committee, heads the Council’s Soccer Tournament fundraiser and has lead the kitchen crew at the monthly pancake breakfast for close to ten years.
