Registration Open for Ocean City Youth Track Meet

OCEAN CITY – The Ocean City Recreation Department and the Ocean City Track Club will sponsor an End-of-Summer Track Meet at 5 p.m. Aug. 30 for children in grades kindergarten through 8.
The meet will be held on the track at Carey Stadium adjacent to Ocean City High School on the beach block of Sixth Street.
Race-day registration takes place 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the track. Runners also can sign-up online at online through the Community Pass system at www.ocnj.us/recreation.
There is no charge. Online registration ends at 9 p.m. Aug. 29.

Participants may run up to three events, including EITHER  the 800 OR Mile. Events include:

  • 50 Meters (7 years and younger only)
  • 100 Meters
  • 200 Meters                                                                                           
  • 400 Meters
  • 800 Meters
  • One Mile (12 years and older)
  • 4 X 100 Meter Relay
