AVALON – Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest family-owned residential real estate company in the United States, welcomes Mimi Szegda to its Avalon office, in Avalon, N.J. Szegda will specialize in working with homebuyers and sellers.
“We are very excited and fortunate to have Mimi join our team of highly trained professionals,” said Michael Mavromates, manager of the Avalon office. “The combination of Long & Foster and Mimi’s unique skills and knowledge will no doubt provide the highest level of service to local buyers and sellers.”
Szegda spent her childhood summers at the shore vacationing at her family’s Avalon and Ocean City beach houses. She earned a degree in marketing and business administration from LaSalle University. Upon graduation, she intended to spend one last summer at the shore but fell in love with the lifestyle. She became a full time resident and 15 years later she has not looked back.

As a co-owner of Marabella’s Family Restaurant in Stone Harbor she understands the meaning of hard work and dedication. With a background in customer service and marketing and her love of the Seven Mile Island, Szegda looks forward to bringing her knowledge and enthusiasm to the team at Long & Foster.
“We are pleased to welcome Mimi to the Long & Foster family,” said Terry Spahr, vice president and regional manager of Long & Foster Real Estate’s coastal region. “Our commitment to our agents and their clients is a top priority, which has enabled us to grow to become the place where more and more of the most innovative, successful and talented agents – like Mimi – choose to call home.”
