Real estate veteran Kathleen Chiolo to manage location
NORTH WILDWOOD – Long & Foster Real Estate, the No. 1 privately owned residential real estate company in the United States, has opened a new office in North Wildwood. The office is conveniently located at 100 W. First Ave., North Wildwood, and Kathleen Chiolo will join the office as its new managing broker.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at the new office at 4 p.m. on Aug. 9. North Wildwood Mayor Patrick Rosenello, Long & Foster Real Estate President Gary Scott, and Long & Foster Real Estate Senior Vice President and Regional Manager Bob Albanese will be in attendance.
“We’re committed to growing our presence along the Jersey Shore, and our new North Wildwood office allows us to increase our footprint and better serve home buyers and sellers throughout the Cape May County and specifically the Wildwoods area,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Additionally, having a leader like Kathleen, who’s worked and lived in the area for many years, provides us with a unique understanding of the local market and the needs of its residents.”
Chiolo comes to Long & Foster from Keller Williams Realty Jersey Shore North Wildwood office. She joined Keller Williams in 2010 when Oceanside Realty merged with Keller Williams. Chiolo started with Oceanside Realty in 2004 as the brokerage’s Director of Marketing. She worked on the marketing and operations side of the business until 2010 when Oceanside teamed up with Keller Williams. Since the merger, she has worked directly with clients in sales again. She received her broker’s designation in 2011.
Prior to her real estate career, Chiolo spent over 15 years in sales and marketing in the high technology field. Her most recent position before leaving the industry was as Manager of Channel Operations for Cisco Systems. There, she was responsible for implementing marketing programs, managing inventory and developing effective communications between her customers, Cisco and its field sales team.
Chiolo grew up in Warminster, Pa. and graduated as a member of the National Honor Society from William Tennent High School. She received a bachelor’s of science degree in finance from Drexel University, where she lived in Center City Philadelphia until moving to the shore in 1994. She currently lives with her family in Wildwood Crest.
