SWAINTON — Cape May County Association of REALTORS® (CMCAR®) is proud to announce Christina P. Clemans, Broker-Owner of Chris Clemans Sotheby’s Int’l Realty, Cape May as the “2016 REALTOR® of the Year.” Clemans was recognized for her contributions to the real estate industry, commitment to the REALTOR® organization and involvement in her local communities.
“Each year we have the honor of presenting this award to one exceptional member and this year is no different,” said 2016 CMCAR® president Christine Rothwell. “Christina is unique in her dedication to the business and the industry, but she also represents the caliber of professionalism that we strive for in our association. As an active member of the Cape May County Association of REALTORS®, Clemans served as President in 1994, REALTOR of the Year in 1994 and 1999, Past President, Director and Director Emeritus, and currently serves as Past President and Scholarship Task Force Chairperson.
Clemans conveys a sincerity and commitment to her profession and is widely known for her reputation of going beyond the expected, not only for her clients but the community and REALTOR® family. She is passionate about her involvement with Habitat for Humanity, having participated in numerous builds. Currently the Founder/President of the New Jersey REALTORS® Housing Opportunity Foundation, Clemans has held multiple positions at the state level including 2003 President, REALTOR® Political Action (RPAC) Trustee and Director. On the National Association level, Clemans has served as Regional Vice President of Region 2 and Director, among other nominated positions since 2002.
Clemans was recently honored along with all the REALTORS® of the Year selected by New Jersey local boards/associations at the New Jersey REALTORS® awards session during the Triple Play REALTOR® Convention & Trade Expo in Atlantic City on Dec. 6, 2016.
