Are You in the Market For a Commercial Loan?

Are You in the Market For a Commercial Loan?

By June M. Cooper, Commercial Loan Officer, Crest Savings Bank

At Crest, commercial financing is more than just a business loan – it’s a partnership. Our focus is on the relationship, not just the transaction. As a local bank, the decision-makers know you, your business and the local marketplace; and you know them as well. Whether you are looking to refinance your existing loan, purchase a new property or obtain a line of credit for working capital, we offer a variety of products to best fit your needs.

Looking to apply? Here is what you need to know:

Contact a Crest Savings Loan Officer – Visit our commercial lending page at www.crestsavings.bank where you can find contact information for our loan officers and application forms.

Tell Us About Your Business – Be prepared to tell us about you and your business. We want to know how you started your business, about your current operation and your future plans.

Process – Once the application information is received, the bank will begin the qualification process. During this time, the bank reviews your financial information and determines if your business has the ability to repay the requested loan. Once the loan is approved, you can expect the following:

1)     You will receive a commitment letter outlining the terms and conditions.

2)     An appraisal will be ordered.

3)     The bank will coordinate and schedule closing with a local title company of your choice.

Terms – A commercial loan is structured differently than your standard residential mortgage. Crest’s typical commercial mortgage term is 10 years, with a rate adjustment after five years and a payment amortization of up to 25 years.

Your relationship with your loan officer does not end at the closing table. You will have an ongoing relationship with your loan officer who will be there to assist with your financing needs every step of the way.
