Readers Needed for ‘Read Across America’

By Press Release

WOODBINE – While this year Woodbine Elementary School’s Read Across America combines a celebration of both Dr. Seuss’s 110th Birthday and the Borough of Woodbine 111th, guest readers are in short supply.
The program is March 7, with an assembly starting it off at 9 a.m.
Anyone willing to read to a class, please call school librarian Judy Casper at 861-5174 ext. 225 to sign up.
“Grandparents and retirees from the community are especially being asked to volunteer. I myself will be a reader again this year, along with my continuing activities under the Mayors Book Club,” noted Mayor Pikolycky.” Our local PTA will be providing coffee and muffins for all guest readers at 8:30 am that morning.”
