WHITESBORO – The Concerned Citizens of Whitesboro, Inc. (CCWI) will participate in the 2019 Summer Food Service Program from June 24 to Aug. 23, 2019.
A U.S. Department of Agriculture program, the program will provide children, 18 and under, who are enrolled in CCWI Rainbow Summer Camp will get the same free meal in accordance with a menu approved by the state agency.
There are family size and income criteria to receive the free meals.
Those income levels range from household of one to eight and over.
An example is a family of three with an annual income of $38,443, or weekly income of $740 to a family of eight with an annual income of $78,403 and weekly income of $1.508.
Children who are part of a household that receives food stamps or benefits under Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) are automatically eligible to get the free meals at the program site.
