‘Quick and Thrifty Meals’ for Grandparents Raising Grandchildren to Be Held Jan. 28

COURT HOUSE — Rutgers Cooperative Extension’s Family and Community Health Sciences Department will hold a free information session entitled “Quick and Thrifty Meals” for the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group on Thurs., Jan. 28, 2016. The program will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Building, 355 Courthouse-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, New Jersey (Turn at the light at ACCC, it is the first building on the right). The building is handicap accessible.
The program will focus on preparing quick and nutritious meals using fresh ingredients that are both easy on the budget and that the family will love. Childcare will be provided for the grandchildren. A light supper will be served promptly at 5:30 p.m. and the program will follow at 6p.m.
There is no charge for this program, however, advanced registration is required. Please call Marian at (609) 465-5115, ext. “609” for more information or to register for the program.
