Powerball Ticket Worth $1 Million Sold in Villas

TRENTON – There was one $1 million second-prizewinning New Jersey Lottery ticket sold that matched the five white balls for the May 18 drawing. 
The winning ticket was purchased in Cape May County at Villas Market LLC, 902 Bayshore Road, Villas. If the ticket had been purchased with Powerplay, it would have been worth $2 million.
In addition, one New Jersey third-prizewinning ticket was sold that matched four white balls and the Powerball making it worth $50,000. If the ticket had been purchased with the Powerplay, it would have been worth $150,000. The winning ticket was sold in Burlington County at 7-Eleven #33336 (S), 3163 Marne Hwy., Mt. Laurel.
Moreover, 21,149 New Jersey players took home an estimated $115,143 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300, according to Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger.
“Congratulations to these fortunate lottery players who purchased the winning tickets,” stated Hedinger in a release. “These lucky players now join the growing ranks of New Jersey Powerball winners.”
The winning numbers for the May 18 drawing were: 2 3, 25, 39, 54 and 67. The Red Power Ball number was 11. The Multiplier number was 03.
The Powerball jackpot rolls to $70,000,000 for the next drawing to be held May 21 at 10:59 pm.
