PHOTO: Wildwood Crest Church Demolished

WILDWOOD CREST – The First United Methodist Church of Wildwood Crest at Fern and Atlantic avenues is being razed to make room for 10 single-family building lots.

Pictured, workers remove the steeple from the former church. The church closed in 2016, and its congregation merged with North Wildwood United Methodist Church. The steeple will be placed atop a new church in Millville that will replace a structure destroyed by fire in April 2016.
