NORTH WILDWOOD –
UPDATE: Mid-Atlantic Police & Fire Survivors Weekend (MAPFSW) 2013 Candle Light Vigil was held on Sept. 28, 2013. The MAPFSW is unique in that it focuses on the survivors of fallen police officer or fireman. The weekend is mainly a somber event where the survivors can talk to other survivors for support, friendship and camaraderie.
PREVIOUS: The Mid-Atlantic Law Enforcement Survivor Weekend is pleased to join with The Cape May County Police & Fire Emerald Society to welcome the Survivor Groups of the Mid-Atlantic Region to North Wildwood in support of the Survivors of Police & Fire personnel who have lost their life in service of others.
This event is unique in that it is the only event that focuses on the survivors. For the most part the weekend is a serious, somber event highlighted by the survivor’s support for one another, and the friendship and camaraderie of those in attendance.
It is also a time for the public to show their support for current emergency responders as well as the survivors of the men & women killed in the line of duty.
