Patriotic Artwork Presented to VFW Commander

By Al Campbell

Destiny Stellander, left, a Lower Cape May Regional High School freshman, created a painting last year as part of the VFW Auxiliary 2016 Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest. Dorothy Jarmon, VFW Auxiliary life member, seated, was impressed with it, and Washington Street Gallery framed the work. At a VFW Auxiliary meeting Oct. 17 at Peterson-Little Post 386, Cape May, Jarmon presented the art to post Commander Robert Andrzejczak, holding daughter Jana. Joining from left is Tricia Andrzejczak, with son Bobby Jr., Auxiliary President Carol Hoffman, and Past President Dolly Showers.
