COURT HOUSE – Will you be traveling this Fall? Do you need to apply for a first time U.S. Passport or to renew your expired or expiring Passport?
Cape May County Clerk Rita Marie Fulginiti suggests you gather your documents and come into the County Clerk’s Office this Saturday, August 6, 2011 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. “These special hours are in place to accommodate Passport applicants who need to apply on a weekend. We are open to provide assistance, forms and to answer questions.” Normal processing time is now four to six weeks so if you apply now you can expect to receive your Passport by the middle of September. Expedited services are available at additional cost.
Passport photos are now available from the County Clerk’s Office for a charge of $5.00 per applicant. On Saturday there will be no charge for photos providing more value and convenience for families.
