Members of the Jersey Shore Parrot Head Club of Cape May and Atlantic Counties will hold their November phlocking at Clancy’s by the Bay in Somers Point, on Nov. 14, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
As part of the club’s gathering, canned goods and nonperishable foods will be collected for the Atlantic City Rescue Mission. Please be generous for those who need it.
Club President Mark Gose encourages all members to turn out for the social. “Now that Sandy has finally gone, we want club members to come check in and be present and accounted for, swap hurricane stories and enjoy time with fellow parrotheads.”
Club members are asked to congregate at the high top tables near the bar, where there is plenty of space to move around and say hello. Clancy’s has generous drink and food specials in store. Anyone interested in learning more about the Jersey Shore Parrot Head Club is welcome to attend.
Clancy’s is located at 101 East Maryland Ave. just off of Bay Ave., in Somers Point.
The Jersey Shore Parrot Head Club brings together people with similar interests in the music of Jimmy Buffet and organizes social gatherings, charitable fundraisers, and community service events throughout the year.
