Opinions? We’ve Got ‘Em!

By Patricia Hall

This week’s letters caused me to wonder if I had been asleep like the fabled Rip Van Winkle because of two separate mentions of the late Bill Sturm who shepherded county government for so many years. See McNulty of Court House’s letter and you may cry,” Déjà vu” yourself.
“What?” I can’t use a leaf blower in Wildwood,” asks Patricia Smith, and Jack Junard of Wildwood Crest considers the ramifications of possible beach tags in Wildwood.
Vilma Pombo of Court house is reminding us that the best produce in the world is grown right here in our county. Listen to your mother when she says “Eat your veggies” and make them “home” grown.
This week’s best letter award goes to McPherson of Cape May who wants us to appoint 10 third graders and have them solve our nation’s problems over milk and cookies. See all letters and opinions of your favorite weekly newspaper — the Cape May County Herald.
