YOUNG, LEROY

YOUNG, LEROY, 72, of Port Norris, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Gogh, GA to the late James Young and Reuby Mackey, he lived in Port Norris for over 40 years after moving from Woodbine. He was a member and served as a Deacon of Shiloh Baptist Church. He loved fishing. Mr. Young worked at Woodbine Developmental Center. He was previously a truck driver for many local companies including Vincis and Murrayville Trucking. He is survived by his children, Sterling Saddler, Betty Ann Gattis, Leroy Hutchinson, Rubye Hutchinson, Lisa Hutchinson, Craig Young, Nicole Hutchinson, and Corey Jenkins; his aunt, Daisey Wise; his 23 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marissa Hutchinson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Faith Tabernacle Holy Church, 1665 North Avenue, Port Norris, NJ 08349, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Haleyville Cemetery.
