YOUNG, JOHN D. SR., 64, of Petersburg, NJ, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center – Mainland Division. Born in Sea Isle City to the late Kenneth and Mary Luker Young, he was a lifetime resident of this area. He was the owner of K & J Cement Works. John was a member of the Petersburg Hunting Club. He loved hunting with his friends from the hunting club for over 30 years. He also liked NASCAR. His greatest enjoyment came from the time spent with his grandkids. John is survived by his wife of 44 years, Pat; his children, Tracey (Jeff) Errickson, John D. (Mandy) Young, Jr., Dana Migliaccio, and Vicky (Roy) Hope; his 15 beloved grandchildren and two great grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Kenny Young, Jr., Bonnie Baum, Donna Nichols, and Darin Young; his in laws, Bob and Julia Powell; and his nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Arlene Mason. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
