WOOD, THOMAS J., 74, of Rio Grande, NJ, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Thomas and Della Gallela Wood, he moved here seven years ago from Havertown, PA. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. Tom enjoyed getting a deal at yard sales, flea markets, and estate sales. He collected German steins and had a passion for food and football. He liked sitting on the beach or walking on the boardwalk while people watching. Most of all, he loved his family and family came first. Tom is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy S. Wood; his children, Tommy Wood (Diane), Kelly A. Wood (Lois Dykes), and Joseph Wood; his grandchildren, Patricia Nicole Wood and Matthew Joseph Wood; his sister, Joyce Pellegrino (John); his nieces, Michele Sankus and Lisa Mangini; and his cousins. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. Interment will be private.
