WILLIAMSON, AMANDA F. (nee Karwoski), 75, of Cape May and formerly of Gibbstown passed away at Atlantic City Medical Center on Wednesday, May 30, 2013 with her loving family by her side. Amanda was born in Camden, and was a long time resident of Gibbstown, before moving to Cape May in 1998 where she had been a summer resident since 1978. Amanda was a long time employee for Mobil Oil Corporation and Valero Energy until retiring to Cape May. Amanda belonged to Eastern Star, Swedesboro Chapter 115; Volunteered for the Red Cross Blood Services; former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Westville; Active member of Cape May Lutheran Church where she was Past President of Church Council, Superintendent of Sunday School, and Vice President of Women of the Church. Amanda is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Wallace “Bill” and will be dearly missed by her loving family which includes daughters, Christine Rothwell & Leslie (and Paul) Bogle; and grandchildren, Charles, Alessa, Cole, Paul Jr., Amanda Catherine and Jaime as well as extended family and close friends. Friends will be received by the family from 3:30pm to 4:45pm on Thursday (June 6th) at the Cape May Lutheran Church, 509 Pittsburgh Ave., Cape May with her funeral service beginning at 5:00pm.
