WHALEN, JAMES JOSEPH ROBERT, September 20, 1939 -July 29, 2013. In the early hours of the morning, Jim passed on to Heaven, the Good Lord called him home. He was born in Philadelphia, PA. He resided in Philly, Laurel Springs, Wild-wood & Mays Landing. Our social butterfly was a 33 year retiree of the Cape May County Road Department. He drove buses and taxis on the side. He enjoyed being an advisor for the Wildwood Police Cadets. His favorite pastimes were talking, painting model cars, doing anything with his grandchildren and antique car shows. Jimmy is survived by his wife Pauline, daughter Regina Bartolomeo, son Anthony Bartolomeo (Renee), Grandchildren Vincent, Sabrina, Gaetano and Venessa, his sister Peggy Mitchell, her husband Bill and their daughters Colleen Walsh (John), Vicky Baker (Nathan), and Dawn Mitchell. Visitation will be held at Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home, 1201 Central Ave., North Wildwood on Monday August 5 from 10am ” 11am with services at 11am. Burial will be at noon Tuesday August 6th at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Glenside, PA.
