WATSON, CLAIRE LEE, went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2017. Claire was born in Astoria Long Island, New York on October 7, 1935. She was a member of the Parish of St. John Neumann and Jesus Christ was her savior. Claire was a dedicated employee in the Superior Courts of NJ. and retired after 25 years. She was a two-time breast cancer survivor. Claire was a loving and devoted wife of 59 years to James Watson, a loving mother to James Watson III (Heather), Maureen Kennedy, David Watson (Karla), Eric Watson and Christian Watson (Jennifer). She cherished her 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews, and was a loving sister to Louise, Arlene, Jackie and Betty Ann. She was preceded in death by her mother Suzanne (Petit) and father Floretine Lee. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to St. Jude’s, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, or St Joseph’s Indian School. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Claire’s life will be held at the Parish of St. John Neumann’s/ St. John of God Church, 680 Townbank Road, North Cape May on Wednesday November 29, 2017 at 11:00 am.
