WATKINS, GEORGE H., 95, formerly of Whitesboro passed away March 17, 2014. Born in Philadelphia to Howard and Martha Watkins, he moved to this area in 1977 and moved to Florida 2 years ago. He served in the US Army in the 92nd Buffalo Infantry Division and the 317th Combat Engineers Battalion. He was an involved and dedicated member of First Baptist Church in Whitesboro. He is survived by his children: Lana A. of Philadelphia, George Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, Rev. Donald E. of Cape May Court House, Jesse E. of Trenton, and Wanda A. of Jacksonville, FL; as well as 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Rt. 9 and Main St., Whitesboro, NJ 08252.
