VINCI, VIRGINIA L., of Stone Harbor, 84, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 with her loving husband, John, by her side. A lifelong resident of the Wildwoods and Stone Harbor, Virginia attended Wildwood High School and graduated in 1950. Ginny worked for Bell Telephone Company for over 35 years, starting as an operator in the Wildwood office, then as a supervisor, then finished her career at the regional office in Marmora. Always active and athletic, Ginny loved to spend her free time and nights bowling at Rio Lanes and Wildwood Bowl, and she found an outlet for that energy on the golf course. She was an avid member of Wildwood Golf and Country Club Women’s Association, a member at Stone Harbor Golf Club, and would later find a second home navigating the fairways of many courses in Pinehurst, NC. In her earlier years she was a dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and served as Matron. Ginny was also an exceptionally talented seamstress, and enjoyed making everything from curtains and slipcovers to clothing and Halloween costumes, including creating doll clothes for the NJ Bell Pioneers organization. Virginia will always be loved and remembered by her family and friends as a beautiful, generous soul, bringing joy and happy companionship to all her who were lucky enough to be a part of her life. She was predeceased by her her parents, William and Edna Little of Wildwood Crest, and by her sister Dorothy Phillips of Philadelphia. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, John; daughters, Audrey Mondelli (Carmen) of Minneapolis and Linda Booy (Lawrence) of Wildwood; brother, William Little (Patricia) of North Cape May; grandchildren, Alyssa, Michael, Jeffrey, and Steven, and three great grand daughters. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 24th, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 9910 3rd Avenue, Stone Harbor, NJ. Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 till 11:00 at the church. Interment will be at St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery in Goshen, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
