VINCI, THEODORA R., 94, of Cape May Court House passed away peacefully in her home on Thurday, February 6, 2014. Born in Piscataway, NJ to the late Theodore and Rose Eggertson, she moved to Sea Isle in 1945 after she was married. While in Sea Isle she was a member of St. Joseph Church and the Candlelighters. She later lived in Avalon and was a member of Maris Stella Church. She was one of the original Lady Lions and served as President and was a member of the Garden Club. She also volunteered with the Burdette Tomlin Hospital Auxiliary and served as President for the local chapter of the Deborah Heart Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband Athony J. Vinci in 2001. She is also predeceased by a brother, sister, and her granddaughter Rachel Gordon. Theodora is survived by her daughters, Santa Vinci and Thea (Alan V.) Gordon; granddaughter Nicole (Greg) Hallquist and great granddaughter Sophia Hallquist. Memorial Mass will be on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Maris Stella Chapel, 25th Street and First Ave., Avalon, NJ 08202. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be private.
