TRYON, DAVID H., 59, of Cape May passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Friday morning, August 23, 2013. Dave was a lifelong resident of the Cape May area and graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School. He furthered his education at Loyola College and graduated from the College of Insurance, New York City. He enjoyed a successful career in the reinsurance business and was currently employed as a managing director for Aon Benfield in Stamford, CT. Dave truly had a zest for living. He enjoyed golfing; following the Philadelphia sports teams; setting up beach camp at Steger’s Beach at 7:30am so the rest of his family and friends could enjoy days at the beach together; and most recently a very special joy came to Dave in the way of becoming a grandfather to his two newborn grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, Chuck and Betsy (nee Conway) Tryon and his brother, Charles Tryon. Dave will be dearly missed and loved forever by his wife, Victoria (nee Palchak); two daughters, Lauren Tryon and Jennifer (and Robert) Fittipaldi; two grandchildren, Grayson and Harper; cousins, Beatrice Pessagno and Belle Gauvry Melnick and the entire Palchak Family which he embraced. There will be a viewing on Monday evening (Aug. 26th) from 6pm-8pm in the Spilker Funeral Home, 815 Washington St., Cape May. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday (Aug. 27th) at 9:30am in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 525 Washington St., Cape May where additional viewing time will be offered from 8:30am- 9:20am (in Church).
