TROUT, WALTER J.

TROUT, WALTER J., 67, of Belleplain, NJ, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Mainland Division. He was born in Millville and was a lifetime resident of this area. He was a supervisor for the NJ State Division of Fish, Game, and Wildlife. Mr. Trout was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish St. Casimir Church, the Belleplain Fire Company, the Dennis Township School Board, and the East Creek Gunning Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and softball. Mr. Trout is survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Tammy Maldonado (Sam), Frank Lupperger (Deborah), Richard Trout (Jenna), and Christopher Trout; his mother, Mary Kone; his sister, Rosemary Schalek; his half-brother, W. Bruce Trout; his eight grandchildren, Brandon Hibble, Gage Maldonado, Frank Lupperger, Nicole Hameier, Shane Lupperger, Cody Trout, Ty Trout, and Vinny Hamburg; his three great grandchildren; and his great nephew, Zachary Wilkins. He was preceded in death by his father William Trout and his step-father George “Bud” Kone, who raised him. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Contributions may be made in Mr. Trout’s memory to In Memory Of for the benefit of the Belleplain Fire Company or the Police Unity Tour at www.inmemoryof-memorial.org.
