TROMBETTA-PESSAGNO, MARY A.

TROMBETTA-PESSAGNO, MARY A., 49, of Galloway, formerly of Cape May Court House, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 21, 2013, the Feast of the Presentation of Our Blessed Virgin Mary, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Cape May Court House to Albert and Betty Tomlin Trombetta, she was a lifetime resident of Cape May and Atlantic Counties. She graduated summa cum laude from Stockton State College with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Mary was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Galloway, where she served on the Parish Council and was active in many church activities. She also enjoyed traveling and loved animals, especially her cats Oscar and Ralph. Mary is survived by her loving husband, Charlie Pessagno; her sister, Debbie (Billy) Adams; her brother, Joe (Sharon) Trombetta; her nieces and nephews, Bill Adams III, Jaime Adams, Al (Christianna) Trombetta, and Katie (Nick) Trombetta Pizza; her uncle and aunts, Maurice Tomlin, Martha Steelman, and Dot Tomlin; and her great nieces and nephew, Mackenzie, Morgan Mary, Chase, Madison, and Alyssa. She will also be sadly missed by her church friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Russell Simpkins; and her brother, James. Funeral Mass will be said on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 35 East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House. Friends and relatives are invited to celebrate her life on Sunday, November 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House and on Monday from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clermont.
