TOZOUR, IRVING ACKLEY “Ack”, 80, of Cape May Court House, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Born in North Wildwood to Claudeus and Julia Tozour, he later proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a devoted family man, often working 2 or more jobs to provide for them, but will most be remembered for his over 30 years with the US Postal Service in Cape May. He truly had the “gift of gab” and made new friends everywhere he went, often lovingly being referred to by his family as “The Mayor” because he seemed to know just about everyone. He gave of himself freely and always without the expectation of something in return. He was a wonderful, adoring father and ten times that as a grandfather to his beloved grandsons, who were his pride and joy, the lights of his life and his reason for fighting so hard to live. Daddy, Pop, Grandpop-you fought the good fight with more courage, grace and dignity than anyone we know, always appreciative of even the smallest task your caregivers performed, never once complaining or asking “Why me?” Your passing has left a huge hole in our hearts, but we won’t be selfish and wish you back, for we are comforted in knowing that you have finally gained what every human desires – Eternal Peace. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 48 1/2 years, Patricia, in 2004. He is survived by his devoted daughters, Kathy Tirri and her husband Joseph, and Lisa McCluskey and her partner John Taccarino; his precious grandsons: Ryan McCluskey, Corey McCluskey and Matthew McDonough; and his former son-in-law Joseph McCluskey, whom he loved like a son. He was also predeceased by his second wife, Charlotte in 2011. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Cold Spring Presbyterian Cemetery. If you wish to make a donation in Irving’s name, please do so to the Naval Air Station-Wildwood Aviation Museum, 500 Forrestal Road, Rio Grande, NJ 08242. Condolences at www.radzieta.com
