TOMALINO, ANDRE M., 91, of Shawcrest Village in Lower Township passed away peacefully on Sunday April 1, 2012 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, he has been a lifelong summer resident of the Cape May area living here full time since 1988. Andre was a glider pilot during World War II with the Army Air Corp. He was a member of the Wildwood Yacht Club; the Corinthian Yacht Club of Cape May; the “QB” of Wilmington, DE; the Circus Saints & Sinners; the Cape May County Union League; and the Philadelphia Navy League. Andre was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing, sailing, and skiing. He was the owner-operator of Paramount Air Services of Green Creek. Andre is survived by his wife Lois (nee Wolfinger) Tomalino of Lower Township; his daughter Barbara (James Dahlen) Tomalino of Cape May Court House; his daughter Lynne (Ronald) Bloomfield of Kitty Hawk, NC; his son Don (Avan) Tomalino of Mickleton, NJ; 8 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Phyllis Lee. A memorial service will be held later in the Spring.
