TODD, JULIANA “JULIE” (NEE YOUNGER), 92, of Cape May and formerly of Philadelphia passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 5, 2013. Julie was a lifelong summer resident of Cape May and a permanent resident here for over 30 years. She was a charter member of the Cottager’s Association of Cape May and one of the very first members of the Cape May Beach Club. She served on the board to help rebuild the Beach Club after the fire destroyed it on the opening day in the late 1960’s. Julie graduated from the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, PA, and from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She taught art at the Lankenau School, Philadelphia, and later in life achieved her real estate license and worked in the Cape May City area for Coastline and Chris Clemans Sotheby’s Realty companies. Julie was a wonderful, independent person who had wit, intelligence, creativity, and most recently bravery. Julie will be dearly missed by her loving family which includes her two daughters, Anne Smith and Betsy Villeneuve; five grandchildren, Amy, Cathy, Julie, Anne, and David; and four great-grandchildren, Connor, Rebecca, Olivia and Claire.
