THAME, ALBERT J., III (“BERT”), 58 of Wildwood, New Jersey, passed away Sunday, December 27th 2015, at his home. Bert was born and raised in the Olney neighborhood, a self -employed contractor and the owner/operator of the Manor Bar in North Wildwood New Jersey, which later became the Hawaiian Rumble. He was a man’s man, simple, proud, dedicated and loyal to all . He was a loving father and grandfather, an excellent provider, problem fixer- everyone’s Superman. Bert was a die-hard Eagles fan, enjoyed solving puzzles, appreciated the beauty of nature and was an avid animal advocate. He is predeceased by his parents, Albert and Joanne Thame. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer C Shanks, mother of his children, Evan Colin and Fiona Rose Thame, his three sons, Damian Andrews, Albert C.Thame, his wife Lisa Finn, his two grandsons, Albert C. Thame lV and Ryan F. Thame, Jr, his sister Maura A. Thame, along with many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Memorial Service will be held at Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church 146 Rector Street, in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia on 11 am Monday January 4th, with a gathering beginning at 10 am.
